Apartment Moves in the Southpoint Area
Most Southpoint apartment complexes have specific moving rules. Reserved elevators, designated loading times, hallway protection requirements. Some limit truck size. Others restrict moving to certain hours. We've dealt with all of it. Our office contacts your property manager before move day to handle the reservations and confirm the rules so we're not figuring it out in the parking lot.
The Southpoint area is mostly newer construction. Apartment complexes, townhome communities, and single-family subdivisions built in the last 10 to 15 years. The buildings are modern, the hallways are standard width, and the elevators usually work. Compared to moving into a downtown loft or a Trinity Park bungalow, Southpoint residential moves are logistically simpler once the property management coordination is done.
For apartment moves, we typically bring a 2-person crew and finish a 1-2 bedroom unit in half a day. Townhomes and larger homes take a full day with a bigger crew. If you're moving into one of the newer subdivisions off Fayetteville Road or NC-54, driveway and street access is usually good. Garages are standard, which gives us a staging area.
Southpoint is one of our busiest Durham areas. We know the complexes, we know the property managers, and we can usually get you on the schedule within a week. Call us at (919) 682-2300.
