This one means a lot to us, because you made it happen. The Consumer Choice Award isn't given by a panel of judges or an industry group. It's based on votes from real consumers in the Durham area. People who've worked with local businesses and took the time to say, "These folks did right by me."
What the Award Means
The Better Business Bureau Consumer Choice Award recognizes businesses that demonstrate outstanding marketplace trust. It's based on a combination of consumer votes, complaint history, and overall BBB rating. You can't buy it. You can't apply for it. Customers vote, and the BBB evaluates the results.
We've held a BBB A+ rating for years. That rating reflects how we handle complaints (we address them directly and make things right), our transparency, and our track record with customers. The Consumer Choice Award adds another layer: it says the people we serve trust us and are willing to stand behind that publicly.
Why It Matters to Us
We've been moving families in Durham since 1976. Almost 50 years. Over 20,000 moves. A 4.9-star Google rating across 600+ reviews. Those numbers represent real people who trusted us with their belongings, their timelines, and their stress.
This award is a reflection of that trust. It didn't come from a marketing campaign or a PR firm. It came from customers who had a good experience and said so. That's the only kind of recognition that matters to us.
