Raleigh to Wilmington is 140 miles on I-40 East. The road is flat, the drive is straightforward, and there's not a mountain or toll booth in sight. In a loaded truck, it takes about 3 hours through Benson, past Clinton, and into the port city. For most 2-3 bedroom homes, we load in the morning in Raleigh and deliver in Wilmington that afternoon.

Arriving at the Coast
Wilmington's delivery logistics vary by neighborhood. Downtown along the Riverwalk has historic homes on narrow streets with limited truck parking. Mayfaire and Porters Neck up north are newer and easier. Monkey Junction and South College Road have a mix of everything. If you're heading to Wrightsville Beach or Carolina Beach, street access gets tight. Sand driveways, narrow lanes, and elevated homes on pilings all require planning. We know when we need a smaller truck and when to schedule shuttle loads.
